TRUPCR® H1N1/H3N2 with Inf B Detection Kit (Real-Time PCR Based) is an in vitro nucleic acid amplification assay for the qualitative detection & differentiation of common seasonal flu causing viruses - Influenza A (Inf A) viruses, Influenza B (Inf B) viruses, Pandemic H1N1/09 virus (Swine Flu) and H3N2 Influenza virus in respiratory samples and viral cultures. The human RNaseP gene serves as an endogenous internal control for human nucleic acid, also included in this kit.
In this kit there are three independent multiplex reactions running in parallel in each tube: the first tube detects Type A Influenza virus (Inf A) & Type B Influenza virus (Inf B) and second tube detects Pandemic Influenza H1N1 virus, H3N2 Influenza virus and Internal control gene- RNaseP all in three different channels (FAM/Green, HEX/Yellow and Texas Red/Orange). TRUPCR® H1N1/H3N2 with Inf B Detection Kit (Influenza Panel) offers advantage of the “hot-start” technology, minimizing nonspecific reactions and assuring maximum sensitivity.
